Chiropractor, Dr. Dan Jarboe joined the Shin Wellness family in early 2017 and has been contributing his skills, knowledge, and passion for health to the community of Miami ever since.
Maintaining a focused and comfortable setting with his patients, Dr. Jarboe enjoys taking the time to better understand each patient beyond just their physical symptoms. His treatment of patients extends past simply the mechanical aspect of the body and rather employs a ‘whole body’ approach toward achieving health.
A well rounded education provides Dr. Jarboe with the tools necessary to give specific and personalized care. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from his home state of Michigan and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic here in Florida. Dr. Jarboe has expanded his tool set with extracurricular study in Kinesiology Taping (Rock Tape) as well as the Graston Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique and the Gonstead, Thompson, and Activator Techiques of adjusting.
While Dr. Jarboe works with people from all sorts of physical and health backgrounds, he has a particular affinity for treating athletes. Dr. Jarboe’s personal experience of being a collegiate varsity tennis player and triathlete and his professional experience providing voluntary chiropractic care at various sporting events (triathlons, MMA tournaments, national flag football championships, USTA sanctioned tennis tournaments) allows him to have a great understanding of how to help athletes of all kinds. In addition, he was one of 2 chiropractors working with the University of Miami Hurricanes for the 2016-2017 season, adjusting students athletes involved in the university’s various sports programs ranging from football and basketball to rowing and tennis.
It’s Dr. Jarboe’s belief that any person with a spine can benefit from chiropractic care. The benefits extend well beyond pain relief, as every person should not just live, but thrive.
